Our guest, Ali Hendry makes people gasp in more ways than one – and this episode is packed with insight, support and advice from her as an expert in the field of menopause and communication.
Ali works as a corporate trainer and coach in public, private, voluntary and military organisations, as well as working with couples on relationship issues.
Most recently her work has been showcased by Channel 5's Lesbian Guide to Straight Sex; which is not as salacious as it sounds - encompassing many words beginning with C, such as communication, connection and talking with couples about how they can actively improve their relationships.
There’s no end to this woman’s talents, as Ali is also a writer, comedian and compere – so there is no subject that is off limits.
In this podcast we cover;
Overcoming shame and stigma
How menopause affects relationships
Early menopause – coined as ‘Lady M’ on one TV show
The power of yoga
Advice for managers (aka – how not to put your foot in it)
Being forensic around hormones
What we can do to support our need for oestrogen, dopamine and oxytocin
A menu for self-care
And there is a lot of talk about sex
Grab a cuppa (or something stronger) and enjoy the next 23 minutes. Enjoy!
